The Duratec engine is very light and includes an aluminum block and head. The valve size is much larger than on the older Zetec engines. This car also comes with stage three cams and produces a lot of power and torque for such a light car.  

Our engine management system is by Haltech including a wiring loom specifically designed for Birkin Cars. Our engines are mapped on a chassis dyno for maximum performance.
